Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Lawrence, MA is seeking a process technician for first shift to operate tanks, monitor timings, rinse and finish parts, and ensure compliance with processing guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting line staff, recording maintenance, and handling hazardous waste disposal under ITAR. The role entails physical work in a hot shop environment with a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate processing tanks and follow specs
• Attention to detail for timing and processing steps
• Compliance with safety rules and PPE requirements
• Ability to log work and follow company guidelines

Responsibilities

• Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements
• Calculate the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts
• Remove parts from tank after specified time, rinse parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing
• Complete paperwork As Required By Company And Processing Guidelines
• Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput
• Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly
• Other duties as assigned
