Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain plating tanks, weirs, solution levels, air agitation, and filtration systems.
  • Perform chemical additions and maintain proper formulation of plating solutions.
  • Conduct temperature checks and pH testing according to established procedures.
  • Monitor, clean, and replace filtration and regeneration systems per maintenance schedules.
  • Oversee recovery systems and perform cleaning or maintenance as required.
  • Interpret and follow written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area around chemical storage, filtration, regeneration, and recovery equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Complete required daily checklists and documentation.
  • Assist other plating technicians as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
