Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2- or 4-year degree in Chemistry, Engineering, and/or a related Science.
• Experience in a chemical laboratory.
• 180 days of Samtec experience.
• Experience operating and maintaining analytical equipment.
• Electroplating experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and control plating baths and water treatment systems.
• Perform various analyses to monitor plating baths and water treatment.
• Maintain plating baths by additions and timely bath changes.
• Perform post-plating analyses: ionic contamination, porosity, and gold usage.
• Work on plating projects including calibration of lab equipment.
• Troubleshoot line and analytical equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
