Job summary

BMW of North America seeks a Platforms Implementation Architect to lead architecture, design, and deployment of scalable, cloud-based platform solutions from Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

You will translate business and data integration needs into robust platform architectures, enforce governance and security, and drive enterprise data integration, AI/ML integration, and cross-functional collaboration with PMO, security, and risk teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Platform Architect or Solution Architect in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of platform architecture, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native design.
• Experience defining data strategies and governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and enterprise applications.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Job Description:

• Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based platform solutions.
• Translate business and data integration requirements into robust platform and integration architectures through cross-functional collaboration.
• Define and enforce platform standards, governance, security, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Oversee platform and system integrations to enable seamless connectivity and reliable data flow across applications and services.
• Drive development of a Customer Support semantic layer for consistent, business-aligned data representation.
• Lead enterprise data integration strategy, including standardized pipelines, ingestion, transformation, quality, and lineage.
• Partner with PMO, security, compliance, and risk teams to align delivery with timelines, budgets, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation.
• Enable innovation by aligning platforms with business strategy, advancing AI/ML integration, improving time-to-market, and empowering data-driven decision-making.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5 -7 years of experience as Platform Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of platform architecture principles, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native design
• Experience in defining and implementing data strategies and data governance frameworks
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, frameworks, and their application in enterprise platforms
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
• Preferred

Relocation is available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position is $62,500.00 - $125,000.00.

The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
