Job summary

New Music USA seeks a skilled Platform Manager to sustain and grow its online platforms, including newmusicusa.org, NewMusicBox, and Counterstream. You will work with Communications and Grantmaking staff to align IT with organizational goals and user needs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in website and software development, strong communication skills, and hands-on experience with WordPress, PHP, CRM systems, and analytics.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience managing and developing websites and program software using agile methods.
• Strong ability to interface between technical and non-technical staff with clear communication.
• Experience with WordPress and PHP; CRM systems and analytics experience a plus.
• Knowledge of web production processes, standards, and testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and maintenance of the platform (newmusicusa.org) and related sites.
• Oversee website functionality, merges, and feature testing; keep content up to date.
• Collaborate with Communications and Grants staff to market, monitor, and grow users.
• Design and implement a new organization database; enable grants apps and reporting.
• Provide IT support for staff, manage servers, updates, backups, and licensing.
• Handle equipment purchasing, licensing (PRO/SoundExchange), and IT vendor services.
• Manage IT and Platform budget; contribute to administrative functions.
