Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Compute Warfare SW Platform Engineer for on-site leadership of modern Platform-as-a-Service architectures supporting Navy/DoD networks.

You will guide engineering teams, evaluate Kubernetes/OpenShift container technologies, and oversee CI/CD and security practices in a cross-functional DevSecOps setting. A DoD clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Requires US Citizenship and DoD security clearance.
• Experience evaluating software architectures and vendor solutions.
• Strong knowledge of IT enterprise services (email, chat, monitoring).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to software developers and vendors implementing modern PaaS solutions.
• Lead lab evaluations of new PaaS and container technologies in a fast-paced environment.
• Coordinate lab testing and integration activities across multiple engineering groups.
• Review architectures and deliverables against Navy/DoD requirements.
• Deliver strategic technical recommendations to the Compute Warfare Lead Engineer.
