Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a self-motivated software engineer to build platforms, systems and services for interacting with large-scale production systems. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software, and bring new ideas and technologies into our platform to improve efficiency.

The role emphasizes building internal tools to boost productivity and collaborating across teams on innovative platform solutions in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
• - Experience with web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, networking systems, or large software systems.
• - Experience with DICM (Discovery, Insights, and Configuration Management), ITOM or ITSM.
• - Experience with GPU, big data (Hadoop/Kafka/Apache) or streaming/computing would be a key indicator of success.

Responsibilities

• Build platforms, systems and services for internal and external teams to interact with the large scale production systems.
