Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a self-motivated software engineer for the DCS platform. You will build platforms, systems and services enabling interaction with large-scale production systems and collaborate with internal teams to boost engineering productivity.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining software, and bringing new ideas and technologies to the platform. A strong foundation in CS and multi-disciplinary experience is valued.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with two or more: web app development, Unix/Linux, distributed/parallel systems, networking, or large software systems.
• Experience with DICM, ITOM, or ITSM.
• Experience with GPU or big data (Hadoop/Kafka/Apache) or streaming/computing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build platforms, systems and services for internal and external teams to interact with large-scale production systems.
• Build tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
• Bring new ideas and technologies into our platform, iterate and innovate.
