Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to own the technical roadmap for the Travel Core Platform. This role partners with engineering leadership to translate a broad mandate into a sequenced plan, delivering measurable platform value.

You will drive AI-enabled development, oversee deployment, testing, and observability, and ensure a strong developer experience. A hands-on technologist with an engineering background is essential.

Qualifications

• Former software engineer who shipped production software and understands the full lifecycle.
• Strong technical credibility with engineering partners; fluent in front-end platforms and observability.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools to prototype and validate ideas.

Responsibilities

• Own the Platform Team's technical roadmap end-to-end, sequencing workstreams into a coherent plan.
• Centralize the shared component library and migrate Travel funnels onto it.
• Lead AI-driven development unlocks and ensure governance for AI tooling usage.
• Modernize deployment, testing, and observability with automation and monitoring.
• Prototype concepts with AI tools and participate in architecture/design sessions.
• Drive quarterly stakeholder reviews and maintain clear technical narrative for executives.
