Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks an ADC Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in AWS Dedicated Clouds (ADCs) for government customers.

You will deploy SSM services to air-gapped regions, troubleshoot production issues, and develop monitoring solutions at scale in a fast-paced, enterprise environment. The role requires US citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or equivalent for government work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
• 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues.
• Developing monitoring solutions.
• Performing software maintenance and configuration.
• Implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, C/C++, JAVA, Python).
• Updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges.
