Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Asset Optimization Manager - Rigid Extrusion & Thermoforming to lead the development and execution of platform strategy across a network of manufacturing sites, technologies, and business segments. The role sits at the intersection of operations, engineering, R&D, marketing, and leadership to connect long-term trends with investments and capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, R&D, Product Management, Asset Management, Supply Chain, or related disciplines
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial technologies
• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to connect technical decisions to financial outcomes
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority and lead cross-functional initiatives
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and senior leaders
• Strategic thinker capable of balancing long-term vision with practical execution

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the long-term strategy for Amcor's rigid extrusion and thermoforming platform
• Identify and prioritize capability, capacity, technology, and operational investments
• Lead multi-generation platform roadmaps addressing sustainability, recycled content, material transitions, manufacturing technology, and productivity improvements
• Partner with executive leadership to define strategic priorities and investment direction
• Drive profitable growth by aligning platform capabilities with customer, market, and business needs
