Amcor seeks a Manufacturing Asset and Capacity Manager – Rigid Extrusion & Thermoforming to lead long-term platform strategy across a network of sites and technologies. You will align operations, engineering, R&D, marketing, and commercial leadership to translate market trends into actionable investments.

The role drives capital planning, asset optimization, and multi-generation roadmaps to sustain growth and transform the platform with sustainability and technology at the core.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, R&D, Product Management, Asset Management, Supply Chain, or related disciplines.
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial technologies.
• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to connect technical decisions to financial outcomes.
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the long-term strategy for Amcor's rigid extrusion and thermoforming platform.
• Identify and prioritize capability, capacity, technology, and operational investments required to support future growth.
• Lead multi-generation platform roadmaps addressing sustainability, recycled content, material transitions, manufacturing technology, and productivity improvements.
• Partner with executive leadership to define strategic priorities and investment direction.
• Drive profitable growth by aligning platform capabilities with customer, market, and business needs.
• Provide strategic guidance on customer opportunities, network capacity, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Support commercial teams in evaluating growth opportunities and strategic customer decisions.
• Translate market trends into actionable platform strategies and investment plans.
• Lead development of business cases for major capital investments.
• Evaluate manufacturing network capabilities, constraints, and long-term capacity requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset utilization, operational performance, and profitability.

• Serve as the primary strategic leader for the rigid extrusion and thermoforming platform.

As a Manufacturing Asset and Capacity Manager – Rigid Extrusion & Thermoforming, you will lead the development and execution of platform strategy across a network of manufacturing sites, technologies, and business segments. This role sits at the intersection of operations, engineering, R&D, marketing, and commercial leadership, connecting long-term market trends with the investments, capabilities, and technologies required to win.

The rigid platform is undergoing significant transformation driven by sustainability, material transitions, recycled content integration, manufacturing modernization, and evolving customer requirements.
