Job summary

Bitdeer is seeking an Early Career Platform Software Engineer to join NeoCloud's SRE platform team. You will work with senior engineers to translate architect-approved designs into production-ready code, shipping features through GitOps and CI/CD pipelines, and building within our Plugin Framework.

You will help meet strict SLOs, operate critical services across multi-region data centers, and participate in mentored on-call rotations as you grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience / internships).
• 0-2 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficiency in Go (preferred), Java, or Rust; scripting in Python or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Build & Maintain SRE microservices across core platform components (collection agents, telemetry pipelines, alert engines, cluster health).
• GitOps & Automation: update infrastructure and apps via CI/CD pipelines and declarative configs.
• Observability & Health: monitor metrics, logs, traces to ensure high availability of GPU infrastructure.
• Operational Readiness: participate in on-call rotation, write runbooks and post-mortems.
• Testing & Quality: write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests before shipping to production.
