Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC, a major financial services employer, seeks a Specialty Software Engineer for a Columbus, OH hybrid role on a 12-month contract. You will help design and implement cloud-native solutions and GenAI-enabled capabilities within a regulated environment.

You will collaborate with top engineers, contribute to large-scale modernization, and drive value through data-centric platforms while ensuring resilience and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, or education.
• Self-starter who enjoys hands-on work and problem solving.
• Skilled in systems thinking and complex problem analysis.
• Fluent in Python and Java, plus one additional language (e.g. Golang, Rust, JavaScript).
• Experience with cloud-native development and GenAI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Specialty Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex challenges requiring in-depth evaluation.
• Contribute to issue resolution and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with client personnel and accelerate AI adoption and modernization.
• Create reusable platform capabilities and simplify onboarding of AI use cases.
• Improve operational resilience through observability and automation.
• Reduce technology duplication via centralized platform services.
