Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group Inc. is seeking a Solution Engineer for the Quantexa Platform in New York. You will translate business needs into scalable, secure data and analytics solutions, covering architecture, data pipelines, and integration with enterprise systems.

The role requires 5+ years in solution engineering or consulting, hands‑on Quantexa experience, and strong communication. Hybrid work arrangement and competitive base salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, data science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of experience in solution engineering, technical consulting, or implementation roles delivering data/analytics platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with the Quantexa platform and the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Strong understanding of data integration patterns (batch/streaming), ETL/ELT concepts, APIs, and data quality/lineage practices.
• Proficiency with modern engineering tools and delivery practices (Git, CI/CD pipelines) and comfort in agile delivery models.
• Experience with big data and distributed processing concepts (Spark) and familiarity with Scala and/or Python.
• Experience working on cloud computing platforms (Azure preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to workshops and drive action.

Responsibilities

• Support technical discovery with stakeholders to understand objectives, data landscape, and success criteria for Quantexa use cases.
• Contribute to solution architecture and implementation design on the Quantexa platform (data ingestion, entity resolution, network analytics).
• Build and deliver platform demonstrations, prototypes, and proofs‑of‑concepts showing data modeling and analytic outputs.
• Support integration with enterprise systems by defining interface requirements and validating performance and security assumptions.
• Translate solution designs into delivery epics/stories; help unblock teams through hands‑on troubleshooting.
• Assist with release readiness, environment validation, and production issue triage as needed.
• Create technical documentation and enablement materials to support adoption.
• Stay current on Quantexa features and share reusable assets and best practices.
