Job summary

Waabi seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager, Platform Software to own program-level execution for software across Waabi's hardware platforms. You will bridge embedded, onboard, and hardware teams, map critical paths, and own risks to ensure platform software readiness on time.

You will partner with Hardware Platform Managers, coordinating cross-disciplinary work, and build processes that scale across fleets while maintaining documentation and clear ownership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical program management experience, with a strong focus on cross-functional software integration programs for hardware platforms.
• Demonstrated experience working across teams with meaningfully different development cadences (robotics, autonomous vehicles, industrial automation, IoT, or defense systems).
• Possess a deep understanding of software development lifecycles.
• Proven ability to build cross-functional program structure from scratch: dependency maps, risk registries, executive reporting, and milestone tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of executive-level one-pagers and working-level dependency reviews.
• Experience in autonomous vehicles or robotics.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and software development constraints.
• Hands-on experience with program tracking tools like Jira, Asana and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain integrated platform software program plans covering key milestones and cross-team dependencies.
• Coordinate physical infrastructure, onboard software, and embedded systems work to bring up different platforms.
• Capture stakeholder inputs and integrate into program plans before design commitments.
• Build dependency maps across Physical Infrastructure, Onboard Software, Embedded Systems, Hardware and Operations with owners and ETAs.
• Own reporting into executive forums and surface risks with data-backed options.
• Track platform software releases, bring-up and test campaigns with sign-off readiness across teams.
• Build cross-functional roadmaps for shared visibility on interdependencies and sequencing.
• Champion tools to capture the single source of truth for program work.
• Build scalable tracking mechanisms and processes for fleet-scale efficiency.
