Job summary

Oracle US is seeking a Software Engineer to deliver minor platform enhancements to shared services, adapters, or SDK surfaces under guardrails and to troubleshoot issues across components using established playbooks.

You will monitor API/SDK usage for observability, update migration notes, and contribute to design, testing, and optimization across the software development lifecycle, ensuring code quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Delivers routine and some non-routine platform work under moderate supervision.
• Troubleshoots standard issues across components using established playbooks.
• Analyzes API/SDK usage and proposes small observability improvements.
• Updates migration notes and reference implementations per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver minor enhancements to shared services, adapters, or SDK surfaces within guardrails.
• Apply compatibility/versioning rules during fixes and minor rollouts.
• Propose observability/resilience improvements based on API/SDK usage signals for a subsystem.
• Contributes to designing software solutions and analyzes requirements to achieve business goals.
• Adheres to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Debugs and fixes simple to moderately complex issues; develops fixes for identified issues.
• Implements testing and QA processes, logging, and monitoring for effective debugging.
• Supports performance profiling and optimization of coding.
• Collaborates with team to resolve customer issues and improve product resilience.
