Job summary

impact.com is seeking a Software Engineer for the Onboarding squad to help build scalable backend services and APIs that power our user interfaces and partner integrations. You’ll work in an Agile/Scrum team, own features, and learn new technologies to support high-volume data processing across our platform.

You will contribute to both backend and frontend tasks, collaborate across teams, and participate in the full product lifecycle from ideation to testing.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java and MySQL with 3+ years of professional experience.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of Spring Framework and ORM frameworks is preferred.
• Experience with Vue.js or modern JS frameworks (React/Angular).
• Experience deploying on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services on the cloud powering UIs.
• Assist Frontend developers with UI changes.
• Create APIs for partners and advertisers.
• Participate in full product lifecycle: ideation, prioritization, coding & testing.
• Learn new technologies and contribute to architectural decisions.
