Job summary

Emerson Electric Co. is seeking a software professional to perform routine and some non-routine platform work under moderate supervision, including enhancements to shared services, SDKs, or integration adapters.

The role involves troubleshooting across components using playbooks, ensuring reliability and backward compatibility. You will monitor API/SDK usage, propose improvements to observability and resilience, and update migration notes and reference implementations within defined guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in software development.
• Bachelor's or B.Tech degree with 1–2 years of software development experience depending on degree.
• Master's degree in a relevant field also accepted.
• Cloud platforms experience (AWS/Azure/Google/Oracle) 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots standard issues across components using established playbooks, helping maintain reliability and backward compatibility.

Minimum Job Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:

Coding Experience:
2 years of experience with programming and/or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, C/C++, JavaScript).
Database Experience:
2 years of experience with databases.
