Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to join the Secure Network Engineering team , focusing on the design, development, and integration of Zero Trust Network Services and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions.
In this role, you will help build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure services that support OCI's distributed, multi-tenant environment. You will work on network security technologies, including network routing, firewalls, key-based authentication, and cloud service-level authorization, to strengthen infrastructure security and reduce exposure to cybersecurity threats.
You will collaborate with engineering teams to develop backend services, contribute to system design and architecture, review code, and explore emerging technologies that improve security, reliability, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has strong software development skills, a solid understanding of networking protocols and Linux environments, and experience with cloud computing and Zero Trust security principles.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure provides enterprise cloud services across compute, storage, networking, databases, and security, supporting mission‑critical workloads in distributed cloud environments.
The Secure Network Engineering team is developing Zero Trust Network Service and PKI Infrastructure Services to strengthen network security through identity-based authentication, authorization, and secure access controls.
This role provides an opportunity to work on cloud infrastructure security challenges involving distributed systems, network security, and scalable backend engineering.
