Job summary

Motive is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Platform Services in a Hybrid Seattle setup. You will drive high-impact, cross-functional programs spanning Motive’s product and engineering org, focusing on platform foundations, developer tooling, and scalable operations.

You will partner with the VP of Platform Services and engineering leaders to align roadmaps, govern delivery, and unblock architectural shifts while guiding multi-team investments toward clear outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical/program management within software, infra, or platform teams.
• 15+ years in the technology industry.
• Proven track record leading large, ambiguous, multi-team programs with cross-functional dependencies.
• Strong technical fluency for architecture discussions, trade-offs, and delivery plans.
• Structured program management, decision-making, and problem solving in fast-paced environments.
• Experience aligning senior stakeholders and improving governance across teams.
• Outcome-oriented with bias for action and executive-level communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to translate priorities into executable program roadmaps.
• Lead end-to-end, cross-functional technical programs across Platform Services.
• Manage goals, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and risks with clear rhythms.
• Build scalable program mechanisms for reviews, reporting, escalation, and metrics.
• Identify and solve systemic issues, driving practical, durable solutions.
• Influence stakeholders and keep strategic initiatives moving forward.
• Mentor teams and elevate execution standards across the engineering org.
• Drive executive reporting and cross-organizational communications.
• Collaborate with Product on mapping roadmaps to programs across teams.
• Implement dynamic tracking frameworks to flag delivery risks weeks in advance.
