Job summary

ASM Research is seeking an IT Services Senior Manager to lead enterprise IT operations across infrastructure, cloud, and security while aligning services with business needs. You will drive strategic initiatives, manage budgets, and oversee a matrix team to deliver continuous service improvements.

The role requires 7–10 years in IT, 5+ years managing staff, strong communication, and a current DoD 8140 security clearance with Security+ certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• DoD 8140 compliance standard and Security+ certification required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct IT-related activities across infrastructure, applications, networks, cloud services, and compliance.
• Ensure continuity of computer, network, and application services through leadership and planning.
• Align IT services with business processes and customer requirements; promote continuous service improvement.
• Perform technical analysis, design reviews, and architectural assessments; manage milestones and quality oversight.
• Forecast costs and resources for IT projects; prepare budgets and performance reports.
• Recommend and implement upgrades for IT assets including servers, networks, and devices.
• Develop and coordinate systems, policies, and standards to strengthen service delivery and security.
• Audit systems, ensure data security, and maintain backup/recovery readiness.
• Identify operational issues, analyze root causes, and implement strategic improvements.
• Lead staff recruitment, performance reviews, and policy enforcement.
