Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. invites engineers to join the Product Security team to build security tooling and automation across our growing platform. You will develop applications, APIs, and frameworks used by engineers worldwide to safeguard a multi-cloud production environment.

The role emphasizes ownership of SRE practices, CI/CD pipelines, and data platform health, with opportunities to work on AI-powered security capabilities and scalable security services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Software Engineering role (event-driven systems, data ingestion pipelines, internal automation tools, internal monitoring tools).
• Experience developing in Golang, Python, React, Angular, and/or Typescript.
• In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, software cryptographic signing, and OSS dependencies.
• Experience with data engineering and datastore/queue operations (OpenSearch, Valkey, Postgres, Kafka, SQS, etc.), including health, capacity, and maintenance of those systems in production.
• Experience managing end-to-end SDLC, with focus on stakeholder engagement and mission outcomes.
• Experience with Generative AI and creating services that leverage LLMs.
• Experience with configuration management & orchestration tools (Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet).
• Experience in a Product Security role (product platforms, customer facing applications).
• SaaS company background is a strong bonus.
• Broad awareness of cybersecurity landscape including adversaries, modes of interest, and TTPs.
• Experience monitoring / analyzing telemetry data from applications and infrastructure.
• Experience in Security Operations and/or Incident Response.
• Experience with Cloud-scale, business-critical Linux environments.
• Experience operating within the cloud (AWS or GCP).
• A combination of confidence and independence with prudent team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Be a technical contributor on a global software engineering team in Product Security, building and operating robust and scalable systems that drive our security mission.
• Design and implement software & automation tools for security use cases such as software supply chain security, AI-powered vulnerability discovery, and visibility of a global multi-cloud platform.
• Partner with teams throughout Product Security to develop security tooling strategy through risk assessments and architectural deep dives.
• Own SRE excellence, CI/CD, and datastore operations for mission-critical security services, implementing performance monitoring and response processes.
