Job summary

Highspring LLC (d/b/a Vaco by Highspring) is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Dublin, Ohio. The role focuses on building, testing, and maintaining the foundational frameworks and infrastructure for a next-generation robotics software platform.

The engineer will develop core software components that enable robotics and AI engineering teams to build, integrate, and operate advanced robotic systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 3–5+ years of professional software engineering experience bringing new products to market.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and software design principles.
• Experience with test-driven development and building thorough software test suites.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into working software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain core software frameworks and platform infrastructure.
• Build foundational software components that support robotics and AI applications.
• Translate technical requirements into reliable, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Develop clear, well-documented code easily understood by other engineers.
