Job summary

State Street is seeking a Business Analyst to drive roadmap execution for foundational backend capabilities on the Charles River and Alpha Platforms. This highly technical role requires collaboration with engineering, architecture, and security teams to ensure scalable, secure platform services and development enablement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical product management, platform engineering, or infrastructure strategy in a SaaS environment.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, containerization (Kubernetes), event-driven systems, and auth frameworks.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and enterprise security/compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is a plus.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence for Agile project management.

Responsibilities

• Collect and refine business and functional requirements from stakeholders to ensure platform capabilities meet performance and compliance.
• Lead product discovery and technical deep dives translating infrastructure needs into clear requirements and roadmaps.
• Engage with engineering and QA to ensure timely delivery of key projects.
• Promote a smooth developer experience with intuitive platform services.
• Provide SME feedback to shape the product roadmap and growth strategy.
• Support sales, professional services, and support to enhance client experience.
