Job summary

We are partnering with Quant to recruit a Platform Reliability Technical Lead in New York. This role is the deepest technical seat on the team, responsible for final escalation across the production estate and shaping runbooks, alerting, and postmortems.

You will work closely with protocol engineers to tackle protocol-level challenges, ensuring the platform remains highly reliable and well-documented. This position emphasizes staying technical rather than moving into management.

Qualifications

• Depth in reliability or production engineering.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm at debugging level.
• Distributed systems where state matters and restarting is not a strategy.

Responsibilities

• Final escalation across the whole production estate; setting how the team works (runbooks, alerts, postmortems).
• Collaborate with protocol engineers to align on hard problems that are protocol-related rather than purely infrastructure.
• Ensure the platform knowledge is written down and accessible beyond memory.
