Job summary

LearningSpring is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to improve systems, automate repetitive work, and support both engineers and staff. The role balances platform engineering (60%) with internal tech operations (40%), owning the AWS-based platform and internal systems that keep the team productive.

You will collaborate with Platform Engineering to improve infrastructure, monitoring, identity management, onboarding, SaaS administration, and internal IT operations.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related roles.
• Proven working knowledge of Google Workspace.
• Experience with AWS in production environments.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Strong Linux, networking, DNS, TLS knowledge.
• Identity and access management, SSO, and MFA experience.
• Automation scripting with Bash or Python.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal business systems including Google Workspace and other SaaS.
• Own identity and access management, provisioning, SSO, MFA, onboarding/offboarding.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Bash, Python, APIs, and workflows.
• Support security and compliance initiatives, SOC 2 activities, audits.
• Support and improve the AWS platform (ECS, RDS, Route 53).
• Contribute infrastructure improvements via Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Build monitoring, dashboards, and tooling using AWS services.
• Participate in incident response and RCA processes.
• Improve deployment reliability and CI/CD processes.
• Optimize cloud cost and performance.
• Create and maintain runbooks and internal docs.
• Collaborate across Engineering to improve reliability and productivity.
