Job summary
WCG International Consultants Ltd. is seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to lead the design and operation of our cloud platform as a product. You will own Azure-based infrastructure (with AWS exposure), IaC, and DevOps/DevSecOps, driving automation and a superior developer experience.
You will partner with Security, Architecture, and Development teams to embed security by design, grow platform capabilities, and enable scalable, secure pipelines and integrations across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Seven (7) + years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
- Three (3) + years in leadership roles
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure; working knowledge of AWS
- Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and secure pipelines
- Experience designing and managing integrations and APIs
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in engineering workflows
- Experience with observability, monitoring, reliability engineering, and incident management practices
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, including lifecycle and access control models
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments
Responsibilities
- Define, build, and operate the internal platform as a product, with clear users and measurable outcomes
- Develop and execute a platform roadmap, service catalog, and self-service capabilities
- Continuously improve developer experience by reducing friction and increasing autonomy
- Architect and manage cloud environments in Azure and AWS with HA and DR strategies
- Lead adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Define scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure patterns
- Embed security into CI/CD pipelines and platform services
- Implement automated security controls and ensure regulatory compliance
- Enforce policy-as-code and least privilege access
- Leverage AI/ML for operational insights and productivity
- Establish scalable integration patterns across systems
- Drive maturity of CI/CD pipelines and release automation
- Enable automated provisioning and deployment workflows
- Implement observability practices and support reliability targets
- Contribute to platform governance and alignment across teams
