Job summary

Ocrolus is seeking a Director of Product – Platform to own the foundational layer powering our AI‑driven fintech platform. You will shape document intelligence infrastructure, the API and developer surface, and end‑to‑end model orchestration to move multiple business units faster.

You’ll lead a team of platform PMs, define accuracy‑driven quality frameworks, and ship iteratively with a bias toward learning.

Qualifications

• Experience owning platform, infrastructure, or developer‑facing products.
• Technical background (CS or engineering) with ability to read architecture diagrams.
• Deep AI fluency and curiosity with opinions on model architectures and tooling.
• Proven track record building and scaling AI‑powered products in production environments.
• Hands‑on mentality; prototyped solutions rather than waiting for engineering validation.
• Experience at growth‑stage companies (Series B–D, $20M–$200M ARR).
• Strong cross‑functional leadership across competing stakeholder priorities.
• Experience mentoring other product managers.
• Experience in fintech, lending, or financial data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform vision and roadmap for document intelligence infrastructure, API, and model orchestration.
• Define platform abstractions serving SMB and Mortgage units without one-off work.
• Prioritize across BU needs balancing near-term delivery with long-term scalability.
• Lead end‑to‑end human‑in‑the‑loop learning systems and data generation for model improvement.
• Collaborate with Automation and ML teams to improve accuracy, classification, and extraction pipelines.
• Drive the model orchestration strategy including evaluation, deployment, and monitoring in production.
• Develop agentic services with vertical teams to automate workflows and improve product steps.
• Translate AI capabilities into practical platform features creating a defensible advantage.
• Stay curious about AI/ML and read papers to form informed opinions.
