OrthoFi Inc. is seeking a Principal Data Product Manager to lead the vision and strategy for OrthoFi’s common data platform.

You will own the foundational data layer across our SaaS ecosystem, defining ingestion, structure, governance, and serving data for engineering, analytics, and product teams. The role blends product management with platform architecture, driving business outcomes through data-enabled insights, automation, and future DaaS opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product management focused on building common data platforms, central data infrastructure, or data pipeline products.
• Proven ability to define product strategy for central data platforms serving internal engineers, data scientists, and business users.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, event tracking, and analytics instrumentation.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-related initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile product development and sprint processes.

Responsibilities

• Define the multi-year roadmap for OrthoFi’s common data platform and treat engineers, data analysts, and product teams as customers.
• Partner with Data Engineering to drive scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and unified data models across SaaS data sources.
• Design self-service data access patterns, clean schemas, and APIs for easy data ingestion and consumption.
• Define metrics, event tracking, and data requirements with SaaS Product Managers throughout discovery and delivery.
• Establish data governance, quality, lineage, and documentation across the central data platform.
• Lead AI/ML readiness by building infrastructure and pipelines for future intelligent features.
