Job summary

AI-Focused Investment Firm in New York seeks a Platform Operations Manager/HR Ops to serve as the operational backbone across the organization. You’ll own HR operations, platform workflows and portfolio community initiatives, partnering with leaders and portfolio teams to scale processes.

You are highly organized, proactive, and adept at building scalable systems, managing multiple workstreams, and fostering strong relationships in a fast-growing investment ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in operations, People Ops, or related role
• Experience with PEO (Justworks) and HRIS platforms
• Knowledge of multi-state and multi-country employment compliance
• Ability to build processes and systems from scratch
• Strong to manage multiple workstreams in a multi-entity environment
• Excellent communication with leadership, founders, and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Own the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, and benefits
• Maintain HR policies and ensure employment compliance across jurisdictions
• Primary contact for internal employee relations; escalate when needed
• Support HR needs for incubations, including agreements and payroll setup
• Support portfolio company teams on HR ops and vendor selection
• Improve HR processes with documentation, automation and self-serve resources
