Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager, Platform Operations Lead Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our technology platform and drive platform enhancements. You will coordinate with security, architecture boards, and vendor teams to ensure reliable, secure releases and scalable solutions across EY's Indirect Tax Technology landscape.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of related experience, strong C#/.NET and Azure skills, API understanding, and experience guiding cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology, information systems, or computer science with ≥7 years of related experience; or graduate degree with ~6 years of experience.
• Approved certification.
• Experience with C# and .NET and front-end knowledge.
• APIs technologies and how they work.
• Familiarity with AI concepts in platform operations.
• Proficiency in Azure and infrastructure-to-application integration.
• Ability to review and debug code when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain application architecture standards for the platform.
• Coordinate with Infosec during releases and security testing.
• Collaborate with Architecture Review Board on platform changes.
• Manage platform changes driven by EY and external vendors.
• Oversee day-to-day platform operations for reliability and performance.
• Run security testing and guide remediation strategies.
• Prioritize tasks and align platform initiatives with business needs.
• Coordinate with EY tech groups for operational and release support.
• Manage DevOps team members and participate in hiring.
• Communicate with executive stakeholders on progress and recommendations.
• Review and debug code when needed.
• Deliver high-quality work within timeframes and budgets.
• Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed.
