Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with leadership of distributed teams.
• Leadership focus on team health, culture, and execution over individual contributions.
• Strong written and verbal communication to technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Experience building developer platforms, APIs, libraries, or technical standards; open-source exposure a plus.
• Minimal travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineers, fostering trust, autonomy, and high performance.
• Establish processes and systems enabling continuous delivery of high-quality software.
• Promote openness and teamwork across teams and with the open-source community.
• Partner with Head of Engineering on hiring, coaching, mentoring, and growth.
• Collaborate with Product Management and DCTO to deliver the roadmap on scalable architecture.
