Job summary

Global Payments seeks a strategic Director of Data Governance & Enablement Platforms to lead enterprise governance capabilities across data catalog, glossary, metadata, MDM, and data quality. You will set roadmaps, drive adoption, and partner with Security, Risk, Compliance, and Data Strategy teams.

You will build self-service, automated governance workflows and scalable platform capabilities, aligning with analytics, AI, and business objectives while managing budgets and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Seasoned leader with 12+ years in data management and governance roles.
• Experience delivering enterprise data catalog, glossary, lineage, and MDM/RDM.
• Proven ability to operate governance platforms as products serving internal customers.
• Strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise strategy and roadmaps for Data Catalog, DQ, Lineage, MDM/RDM platforms.
• Lead governance enablement programs, adoption, and platform operating models.
• Partner with Data Trust, Architecture, Engineering, Security, Risk and Compliance.
• Drive platform standardization, automation, and self-service experiences.
• Lead a high performing governance technology team and manage budgets.
