Job summary

SiFive, Inc. invites interns to work on Platform Engineering Technologies, supporting and enhancing tools for SoC design. You will apply OO/FP programming, contribute to Chisel and CIRCT, and help build the best design and verification environments for RISC-V CPUs, IPs, and SoCs.

You will learn to incorporate user feedback, collaborate with engineers, and grow your functional programming skills in a real industry setting.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and share.
• Ability to communicate and teach others inside and outside the company.
• Experience with object oriented or functional programming languages.
• Exposure to hardware design and verification techniques is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance cutting-edge tools for SoC design.
• Enhance domain-specific languages for hardware design.
• Contribute to open source Chisel and CIRCT communities.
• Ensure engineers have the best tools to build and verify RISC-V CPUs, IPs, and SoCs.
• Learn and apply new technologies to change the paradigm of designing custom silicon.
