Job summary

RealmOne, based in Columbia, MD, seeks a Platform & IT Lead to operate the Foundry's on‑prem infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking, and to coordinate with enterprise IT for accreditation and security.

You will maintain lab and demo environments, manage access, and automate routine tasks using IaC and scripts as part of a cross‑disciplinary team delivering mission‑ready demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 0 to 3 years of professional experience.
• Familiarity with Linux, macOS, and Windows operating environments, including installation, configuration, user management, and troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls) and familiarity with at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience with cloud administration, virtualization, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code.

Responsibilities

• Operate our on-prem network and infrastructure (virtual machines, containers, GPU compute, storage, and networking) so engineers can develop, deploy, and demonstrate capabilities quickly.
• Maintain lab and demo environments, including provisioning, patching, monitoring, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Be the single coordination point between the Foundry and enterprise IT.
• Support environment accreditation with Security: keep system documentation and inventories current, apply security baselines and hardening, gather evidence, and help close findings.
• Manage user access and identity (SSO, groups, roles) across lab services.
• Write and maintain runbooks, network diagrams, and configuration documentation.
• Automate routine work with scripts and infrastructure-as-code where it makes sense.

Job Description

• We are searching for a Platform & IT Lead to run the Foundry's infrastructure. You will operate lab infrastructure, compute resources, networking, model gateways, identity and access, and the prototype and demo environments our customers see. You will maintain configurations, access procedures, documentation, and environment readiness, and serve as the single coordination point with enterprise IT. You will support environment accreditation and security work with enterprise Security, and coordinate infrastructure demand with engineering and presales.

Pay Range

65,000 - 115,000

The RealmOne pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
