Job summary

Mercury is building an Infrastructure Platform to empower the Engineering Organization with scalable, secure, and maintainable foundations. The team focuses on platform features that are easy to deploy, secure by default, and observable by default, enabling both agents and humans to operate effectively.

We manage networking and container orchestration on AWS, using Terraform, GitHub/GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch and OpenTelemetry to ship reliable systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with AWS.
• Interest in cloud native open source technologies and upstream contributions.
• Strong fundamentals, curiosity and ability to go deep.
• Experience building scalable, secure, maintainable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build our Infrastructure Platform to support the growing needs of the Engineering Organization.
• Focus on building a platform that is AI friendly while still usable for engineers.
• Deliver key infrastructure projects, define RFCs and technical specifications.
