Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Platform Infrastructure Engineer to deploy and maintain multiple platforms supporting several applications. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, overseeing architecture, and delivering scalable, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

TCS202, T4, Band 7 is the internal job profile code and level.
Active Secret clearance required for the role.
US Citizens only due to federal requirements; no dual citizenship.
On-site position at a government facility in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Must reside within a commutable distance and be able to work five days a week on-site.
Rotational on-call schedule for emergency page-outs is required.

Responsibilities

Monitor and optimize system performance and implement corrective actions.
Manage integration using standard networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls).
Conduct cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Develop and implement security incident response plans and procedures.
Create automation scripts to streamline deployments, provisioning and management.
Deploy and manage machines with VMware, vCenter, Kickstart, Puppet, Foreman, and CIS-CAT.
Configure host-based security systems and perform system patching (Red Hat Satellite).
Support IaC within RHEL containers and DevOps practices.
