Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Platform Firmware Architect to lead design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable firmware solutions. You will collaborate with software, system administration, and management teams to deliver robust platforms that integrate with existing infrastructure and provide meaningful value to end users.
Responsibilities include leading multiple project teams through design, coding, testing and integration, and mentoring junior staff.
This role is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust and scalable software systems. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and project managers, to create solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure and deliver value to end-users. The role ensures the efficiency, reliability, and performance of software systems. The role provides guidance to other team members on developing validation execution plans for new technologies. 4-days a week in-office requirement
Recommended Bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in systems engineering, computer programming language, or a related field. 8+ years firmware development / architecture experience BIOS / UEFI / Embedded Systems Docking Station and Notebook PC architecture USB-C / Power Delivery USB, PCIe, I2C Security firmware experience ODM collaboration experience
The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
