Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering in Irving, TX. You will lead multiple engineering teams delivering simulation integration, digital twin platforms, and geospatial/safety services, building scalable cloud‑native platform services and reusable APIs.

You will collaborate with product, architecture, security, and business stakeholders to align platform capabilities with enterprise strategy, set a clear vision, and drive automation, quality, and performance across teams.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to build and lead high‑performing engineering teams.
Deep understanding of reusable platform services and APIs for scale.
Proven expertise in scalable, cloud‑native distributed systems and platform services.
Operational excellence: risk management and corrective actions.
Experience with NVIDIA ecosystem technologies for simulation/digital twin.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding and testing.
Ability to drive a clear platform vision across a large organization.

Responsibilities
