Job summary

Harbinger Motors in Garden Grove, CA is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Platform team (Frontend, Backend, DevOps) and drive critical initiatives such as the Fleet dashboard, payment integration systems, and vehicle configuration tools.

You will align firmware and software efforts, resolve cross‑functional conflicts, and champion technical excellence and delivery across a growing EV platform team.

Qualifications

• Automotive experience not required; transferable expertise welcomed.
• Deep technical expertise with architectural understanding and hands-on React and/or GoLang.
• Proven track record of cross-functional leadership and end-to-end delivery.
• Experience with telemetry, real-time data visualization, and geospatial dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Platform team across Frontend, Backend, and DevOps.
• Manage high-impact web and app products, including Fleet management dashboard SaaS product, OTA and release management platform, vehicle configuration management, and Harbinger phone app.
• Lead on architecture, technology, and hiring roadmap for the platform team.
• Build complex visual dashboards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship on architectural and technical decision making, in setting up the products for scalability and alignment with the product roadmap.
• Foster a collaborative team culture focused on end‑to‑end delivery and technical excellence.
• Manage internal technical teams and external design teams towards delivery targets.
