Job summary

Seaboard Foods is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead Azure platform services, automation, and cloud infrastructure across hybrid environments. You will mentor the Platform Engineering team, drive modernization initiatives, and collaborate on architecture and operational improvements.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in infrastructure and cloud engineering, strong Microsoft ecosystem experience, and a passion for automation and security across Azure and on-premises platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of infrastructure, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or related experience.
• Strong experience supporting enterprise Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Azure.
• Experience with virtualization platforms including Nutanix and/or VMware.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup, resiliency, and platform operations.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code, automation, and scripting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership for Azure, identity, virtualization, automation, monitoring, and platform services.
• Designs, deploys, and supports Azure platform services, cloud infrastructure, and virtual infrastructure (Nutanix and VMware).
• Develops and maintains Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Bicep and automation platforms.
• Leads cloud modernization, datacenter migration, and platform transformation initiatives.
• Mentors and develops Platform Engineers through structured knowledge transfer.
