Job summary

Allianz Technology seeks a Senior Manager of Digital Integration & Platform to lead API governance, microservices, and cloud-native infra on AWS. You will own the API layer, Kafka event streaming, MongoDB per-service schemas, Vault secrets management, and CI/CD on ECS/EKS.

This role partners with enterprise architects and domain managers to optimize velocity and reliability. The candidate brings 8–10 years in platform or backend engineering, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of platform/integration or backend engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and performing code reviews.
• Strong background in Java/Spring Boot, AWS, and API platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own the API layer design, governance, and developer documentation.
• Lead AWS API Gateway configuration, security policies, and rate limiting.
• Own microservice development with Java/Spring Boot and MongoDB schemas.
• Manage integration contracts with downstream systems and Salesforce integrations.
• Drive event-driven architecture using Kafka and maintain the EBS streaming bus.
• Oversee cloud-native infra on AWS with Terraform/AWS CDK and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead platform reliability, SRE practices, and Dynatrace observability.
