Job summary

Awetomaton Ltd seeks exceptional students for its Summer 2027 Internship Program at our Beavercreek, Ohio headquarters. As a Platform Engineering Intern, you will be mentored by senior engineers and work on projects that support national security needs, with visibility across the company and government customers.

You will explore the full product engineering lifecycle, focusing on automation, cluster reliability, and multi-tenant Kubernetes workloads.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field.
U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java, etc.).
Experience with Linux systems; basic cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Interest in DevOps, infrastructure-as-code and automation tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).

Responsibilities

Engage in the full product engineering lifecycle from requirements to implementation.
Build automation and improve multi-tenant Kubernetes deployment experiences.
Contribute to tooling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and environment hygiene across clusters.
