Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering to lead a platform engineering team building reusable frameworks, SDKs, tools, and services behind a clean layer of abstraction, enabling thousands of engineers to move faster and more securely while avoiding re-implementation of common infrastructure.

• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing engineering talent.
• Extensive practical cloud-native experience.
• Strong written and verbal communications with executives and stakeholders.
• Experience delivering developer platforms, SDKs, or reusable frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Leads multiple technology and process implementations across departments to achieve enterprise-wide technology objectives, including scaling the reusable-components portfolio from flagship frameworks to many
• Directly manages multiple technical areas with strategic focus, frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and business units
• Provides leadership and high-level direction to teams, sets strategic focus, and champions agent-native, secure-by-default engineering and applied AI across the portfolio
• Acts as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives, driving consensus across competing objectives
• Manages multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations
• Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams, and champions a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
