JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within the Common Components team in Jersey City, NJ. You will be a core technical contributor delivering scalable, secure frameworks, SDKs, and tools used firmwide.

You will design drop-in components for LLMs, drive secure coding and automated testing, and lead architectural evaluations across teams and vendors to support critical business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering design, development, testing and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s).
• Experience leading AI-assisted development practices with secure coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' code.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
• Identifies automation opportunities to improve operational stability.
