Job summary

Synergy ECP is seeking a Platform Engineer Level 1 to provide hardware, OS and system administration support for highly available enterprise services. The role involves scripting, provisioning, and configuring hardware and software across campus datacenters, with emphasis on patching and security compliance.

Required: TS/SCI with polygraph; five years as a Platform Engineer and a Bachelor's degree in a related field (or 4 extra years of experience in lieu of degree).

Qualifications

• Five (5) years' experience as a Platform Engineer required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field required; four years can substitute for degree.
• Experience with Linux/Unix/Windows/Cisco OS favored; ability to run security tooling and perform system provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware, OS and system administration support for enterprise services.
• Write programming scripts for system testing, monitoring, and repair.
• Configure, troubleshoot, monitor and test datacenters and messaging services.
