Job summary

CACI is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise Cross Domain Solution platforms that enable secure data sharing between classified and unclassified environments. You will build software and infrastructure to support Air Force personnel across multiple locations, tackling complex technical challenges while improving user experience and national security impact.

Required: TS/SCI with SCI eligibility, 5+ years in RHEL, 5+ years VMware, and DoD 8140 certification.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility.
• BA/BS degree in a related field (AA/AS and additional experience may be considered).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in RHEL Administration.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with VMware.
• Minimum 5 years' experience applying security patches to Linux systems.
• Current DoD 8140 cybersecurity certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
• Experience with DoD security policies and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and maintain enterprise CDS platforms for secure cross-domain data transfer.
• Administer and configure UI apps and external services for CDS interactions.
• Manage user accounts across environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for platform health.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex systems and support end users.
