Job summary

You will work across the stack to surface core platform capabilities for frontend integration and enterprise workflows. This role balances pragmatic engineering with long-term scalability, partnering closely with the founders to design secure APIs, reliable data stores, and robust CI/CD pipelines in a nimble startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years in software platform engineering or similar.
• Experience building scalable backend systems with Node.js/TypeScript or Go/C#/Java.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk).
• Solid understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security best practices and cloud compliance.

Responsibilities

• Work across the stack to expose core platform capabilities to frontend components.
• Rapidly create and deploy new microservices and user-facing APIs.
• Design secure, performant data access layers.
• Ensure consistent monitoring, logging, and error handling across the platform.
• Drive automation and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment cycles.
• Stay updated with industry trends and adopt useful technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
