Metis, Inc. is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their small, product-driven engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and shipping production systems that directly impact customers, all while upholding high standards of code quality.

Your projects will involve scaling the Mantis Platform and optimizing the training stack. The ideal candidate will have strong coding fundamentals in modern languages like Python, Go, or Rust and should be comfortable navigating complex system designs.

Qualifications

• Strong coding fundamentals in at least one modern language (Python, Go, Rust, etc.).
• Ability to break down ambiguity and ship simple solutions to complex problems.
• Familiarity with system-design and general coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Help scale and work on a core part of our Mantis Platform.
• Optimize our training stack and expand platform scalability.
• Write code and leverage AI tools effectively.
